Receiver / Rover
He is responsible generally for getting the ball, running to a predetermined position decided by he and the ruckman.
He must be fully committed to the role, eyes on the ball, creative, power runner and being a real work horse in the middle.

Positional Forward Kicking

A drill focusing on improving the Positional Kicking to your forwards and improving thier timing on leads. Strong running and accurate kicking are one of the key elements of this drill.
Player starts in centre of ground. Kicks the ball (follows) to a leading HFF who marks, Runs with the ball then handpasses to Wing player who is streaming through. He receives ball and looks for the leading Full forward.
One in the Middle

Three player drill or use variation. One ball at each end.
Outside players handball / kick or roll the ball to the middle player who then handballs back to the end the ball came from.
