DUTIES Responsible to the Football Manager for selection procedures</p>
<p>Determine the selection procedures which will ensure an effective                selection process</p>
<p>Ensure that club policies are followed with regard to selection</p>
<p>Facilitate and Chair Match Committee/selection meetings</p>
<p>Observe training sessions and all matches</p>
<p>Follow up absent players who have not been excused from training</p>
<p>Organise player teas and other functions as requested by the Coach</p>
<p>Assist Senior and Reserve Coaches on match days</p>
<p>Liase with Football Manager and Coaches in assessing recruiting needs</p>

<p><strong>RESERVES COACH</strong></p>
<p><strong>PURPOSE</strong></p>
<p>To coach and develop players of the club to perform consistently at<br />
their highest level</p>
<p>This position is responsible to the Football Manager</p>
<p><strong>DUTIES</strong></p>
<p>In conjunction with the Senior Coach, ensure the arrangement, co ordination and supervision of team training sessions and player fitness program</p>
<ul>
<li>Assist in the major areas of player skill and strategy training</li>
<li>Ensure the teams are best prepared for each match</li>
<li>Formulate and supervise skill training programs for individual players</li>
<li>Report any deficiencies requiring urgent attention in performance and training to the Senior Coach</li>
<li>Provide advice and instructions to individual players and the team<br />
in respect of fitness, development, skills and tactics</li>
<li>Coach the team during all participating games</li>
<li>Be part of the Match Committee</li>
<li>Attend all formal training sessions</li>
<li>Assist with the management of recruitment</li>
<li>Assist with the management of pre season groups</li>
<li>Liase with the U18 Teams Coach on possible promotion of players to reserve grade.</li>

<strong>FITNESS &amp; REHABILITATION CO-ORDINATOR</strong></p>
<p><strong>DUTIES</strong></p>
<p>Responsible to the Senior Coach and the Football Manager</p>
<p>Take part or all of the Senior squad for fitness training, including the implementation of a weights program ( in consultation with the Senior Coach, with respect to the overall training program)</p>
<p>Assist the Senior Coach with the conduct of the training session, where this is possible.(if this doesn&#8217;t conflict with the above)</p>
<p>Organise and conduct training and rehabilitation exercise programs for all injured players (ie players unable to participate in the full training sessions as planned by the Senior Coach)</p>
<p>Report to the Senior Coach on the fitness of injured players (ie on progress and when they are likely to resume playing)</p>
<p>Conduct fitness tests (where necessary) on injured players, as they recover from their injuries to the point where they appear ready to play</p>
<p>To support at all times the attitudes impressed upon the players by the Senior Coach</p>
<p>Take pre game warm ups with individual players (coming back from injury) and the team</p>
<p>Alert the players to any special requirements they may need to attend to for the day (eg extra emphasis on fluid replacement on hot days)</p>
<p>Improve the education and understanding of the players in relation to the following areas<br />
Nutrition<br />
A healthy diet<br />
Pre Game<br />
During Game<br />
Post Game<br />
Fluids<br />
Weekly<br />
Pre Game<br />

<p>Supply copies of player programs and test results to the Senior Coaches<br />
and other Coaches as required</p>
<p>Ensure that interchange players jog and stretch every 10 minutes to stay warm and ready for action</p>
<p>During the half time break, ensure that the players warm up again prior to the commencement of the 3rd quarter</p>
<p>At all times support and reflect the club/team image.</p>
