Correct Running Technique

Of course these are only a few drills, there are many more drills, however by incorporating these few drills into your warm up program you will be teaching your players good running technique.The use of a quick-foot ladder will also be useful for technique development. Too many young players are not taught how to run. They run on their heels and do not run tall.

The abovementioned drills will help correct this problem and enable them to become more efficient and effective runners when they are older.

They may not become top footballers, or they may give the game away, however you have given them the opportunity with a running program to better equip themselves or even branch into the field of athletics.
