Congratulations to Patty Mills and Aron Baynes and obviously the entire San Antonio Spurs organisation for winning another NBA Championship earlier this week.  If like me, you caught AFL 360 last night Paul Roos mentioned a video he showed to his players last week on what “Spurs” basketball is all about.

These are lessons that are critical to all team sports but in a world dominated by mega million contracts can be even harder to achieve.

Show this to your players before training, before a match, let them see that “TEAM” beats all, you don’t want the spectacular, you don’t want the insane, you want consistency, reliability and TEAM WORK.
