Alan “Bull” Richardson played 103 games and a very dominant player in our Premiership in 1967.

Bull was a great man and I would not have had the career I had if not for Bull. As stated he wasn’t a great kick however his handball was superb.

Bull and I had a great understanding, I would give him a wink, a whistle,a nod or a voice and with no hesitation the ball was on the way to me. The year of 1967 our first premiership for years I finished with 49 Goals I would say at least 35 of those goals came from Bull.

I loved the man we all called “Bull”.

Rest in Peace old mate.
