Peter Schwab, is a life member of the AFL, has been the chairman of the AFL Match Review Panel two years, overseeing the implementation of the new reporting system.

Peter Schwab, is a life member of the AFL, has been the chairman of the AFL Match Review Panel two years, overseeing the implementation of the new reporting system.

In that time he has also worked in game development with the AFL, coached football at Wesley College and worked as a print and broadcast commentator.

He played 171 games for Hawthorn between 1980 and 1991, including the 1983, ’86 and ’88 premierships, as well as four night premiership teams, becoming a life member in 1988 (should I ever forget). He was Richmond assistant coach from 1992-94, before returning to Hawthorn in 1995 to work as marketing manager.

He was assistant coach to Ken Judge at Hawthorn in 1996 and 1997 and managed the AFL Umpiring Department for two years, before returning to Hawthorn again as senior coach for five seasons.

He is now the CEO of aflvic football. Welcome on board Peter.
